TAMUCC TRUMPET STUDIO
The trumpet studio at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi is a vibrant community of students intent on attaining their performing and educational goals. In the studio we learn together in a supportive atmosphere with excellent and varied opportunities for individual growth. The TAMUCC trumpet studio regularly participates in masterclasses with the finest performers in the world such as Craig Morris, Paul Merkelo, James Thompson, and the American Brass Quintet. Additionally, trumpet students have performed at national and regional conferences on a competitive basis. TAMUCC trumpet studio graduates have been accepted to fine graduate schools and are employed in music education throughout Texas and beyond.
